On Thursday, October 6, 2022, Dorothy Boole Stauffer, 94, wife of the late Lynn E. Stauffer, Sr. and a resident of Melfa, VA, was reunited with her loved ones as the Lord called her home. A native of Happy Union Farm, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Cornelius Boole and the late Margaret Viola Massey Boole. She was part owner of Horne and Stauffer Furniture Store.

Rosemary was born Dec. 14, 1952, in Duluth to Erich and Margaret Paltian. She graduated from Central High School and the Duluth Business College. Rosemary met the love of her life, Dan Becker and they were married on June 12, 1971. She was a legal secretary at Clure, Eaton and Butler, until her Parkinson’s forced her retirement in 2002.
